Cherished Tradition Pearl Jubilee Celebration The society celebrated its 30th anniversary with a year long programme involving all its institutions. The programme of pearl jubilee celebrations had its inauguration on 14th April , 1993, having in its wake varied activities and competitions in educations, culture, sports and events of social interests at the district, state and even national levels. The finest touch to this Pearl Jubilee celebration was imparted through a valedictory event on 18th April , 1994, which received the grace of a personality of the eminence of Dr.P.C.Alexander, Governor of Maharashra. In his speech Dr, P.C. Alexander remarked, "I compliment the able band of teachers of this great institutions under the leadership of tour popular principal . When you will be celebrating your golden jubilee and all that, I am cent percent sure that this institutions would have emerged as one of the top most educational institutions of the state." The post Pearl jubilee period saw many a remarkable honours, conferred on the institution and its founder like release of a special postal stamp on NES by the government of India, conferring of National Award on the founder-principal Dr.R. Varadarajan and so on. |
