Silver Jubilee Celebration
In the year 1988, the society celebrated its Silver Jubilee, as the first celebration of its kind .the year was a memorable one with the launching of a number of new projects , presenting a variety of cultural shows by students and even eminent music directors like lliaraja and Bappi Lahiri. The celebrations were inaugurated at the hands of Hon'ble Shri M.M. Jacob then union minister of parliamentary affairs, government of India and the valedictory function was held at the august presence of Hon'ble Shri M. Arunachalam then union minister. The N.E.S. complex was also blessed by his holiness Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji and Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamiji, the Jagadguru of Kanchipuram.
